Cornships Management and Agency Inc, was incorporated in Istanbul/Turkey after Mr. Akin Falay’s departure from his former partnership with Mr. Semih Sohtorik in SSMA. Cornships Management is a privately held corporation established for the sole purpose of providing all aspects of ship management and agency services to the fleet owned and controlled by Corn Marine Ltd. of Malta.

Since it’s initial inception with 3 vessels, the fleet has grown significantly in recent years to the current status of a total of 9 vessels. By reason of the special design and particulars of the vessels which are all sisters from the same stable, they require their own exclusive management with Cornships Management.

The corporation is in full compliance with the rules and regulations imposed by international bodies and institutions regulating international shipping and trading, and accredited by Class NK of Japan for SMS – ISSC – ISO 9001.

While all aspects of ship management and agency services are provided to the Cornships fleet, chartering and commercial management is assigned to and undertaken by Cornavin Shipping in the U.K. Cornavin (established long ago 1982 between Mr.Akin Falay and his partner Charles Gamon) was conceived for the purpose of consolidation and centralizing the worldwide trading of the vessels under management.
